# Password, impersonation and compliance

> Change your password, log out automatically after inactivity, control who can sign in as you, and download compliance documents.

These settings live under **Settings** > **Security**. For two-factor authentication, see [Two-factor authentication](https://cal.com/help/security/two-factor-authentication.md).

## Password

Go to **Settings** > **Security** > [**Password**](https://app.cal.com/settings/security/password).

### Change your password

Enter your **Old password** and a **New password**, then click **Update**. Use at least 12 characters and avoid common or easily guessed passwords.

If you signed up with Google or another sign-in provider and haven't set a password, this page says your account is managed by that provider. Click **Create account password** and Cal.com emails you a link to set one.

### Session timeout

Turn on **Session timeout** to log out automatically after a period of inactivity. This is useful on shared or public computers. Choose **Timeout session after** 5, 10 or 15 minutes and click **Update**.

## Impersonation

Go to **Settings** > **Security** > [**Impersonation**](https://app.cal.com/settings/security/impersonation).

![User impersonation toggle](https://mintcdn.com/calcomhelp/qOb0uQxkpmd3oZAe/images/security/impersonation.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=qOb0uQxkpmd3oZAe\&q=85\&s=abc18ef754d644c00f517bdd2a49b254)

**User impersonation** lets Cal.com support and your team owners and admins temporarily sign in as you to fix issues you report. Turn it off to block all impersonation of your account.

For permissions, team and organization entry points, and how to return to your own account, see [Impersonate team and organization members](https://cal.com/help/teams/impersonate-members.md).

## Compliance

Go to **Settings** > **Security** > [**Compliance**](https://app.cal.com/settings/security/compliance) to download Cal.com's compliance documents, certifications and data protection agreements. Documents are grouped into **Data privacy**, **Compliance reports** and **Other documents**.

* Public documents and the Data Processing Agreement (DPA) are available to everyone.
* Restricted documents, such as compliance reports, are available to members of an organization.
* The first time you download a restricted document, you're asked to accept a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). You only need to accept it once.

You can also find these documents at [trust.cal.com](https://trust.cal.com).
